This weekend I attended the sexy version of a Avon calling — a girls only sex toy party being thrown by a girl on my college campus. The party was thrown by one woman who works for a company called Pure Romance, and she invites women she acquainted with in the hopes to sell her products to them. Pure Romance is a business that specializes in sex toys and roleplay supplies, but also has a wide array of lotions, lubes, whips, cuffs, sex swings, and essentially anything else your horny little minds can conjure up. The host of the party, was a slender Asian woman named Jade, who was probably one of the most sensual woman I had ever met and what I imagine would be the star of every teenage boys wet dreams. When I walked through the door the lighting was dim, and there were a dozen women lounging around a table covered in products that you’d only find in Christian Grey’s red room. Every girl got a name tag that added a kinky twist to our names, some of the names included G-spot Gina, Masturbating Marissa, Ass Play Alli and of course mine Sultry Selesté. Jade started off the event by having us all introduce ourselves with our kinky names, and then had us write down the freakiest thing we’ve ever done in bed on a post-it note. She shuffled up the notes so she wouldn’t know who’s was who’s and then proceeded to read them to the group, and let me tell you those ladies knew how to get their freak on. Stories of public sex, toe sucking, domination and submission were told, and made my story about giving head to a bartender while he served drinks seem vanilla. Though hilarious, the activity really helped to make everyone feel comfortable, and broke any ice there could possibly be in a room full of women trying to buy sex toys.
Jade decided to start small and introduced us to the lubes and lotions first and then worked her way up to the big gun, high end, orgasm promising sex toys. If I wrote a review of every product you’d be here the two hours I spent at this party so I’ll just highlight some products I found to be ground breaking. The first and one that shook me to the core was a gel called “Great Head” that I got to test out; it’s a throat desensitizing gel that makes it easier for you to deepthroat. At first I thought this product had to be complete bullshit, and that there was nothing in the world that could stop me from nearly upchucking on every penis that dared to come near my uvula. But 30 seconds after I had coated the back of my throat with the gel I felt a cooling sensation, I proceeded to stick fingers down my throat and then… nothing. No gagging, or discomfort, not even my friends fingers triggered a response. Now trust me as a twenty year old college student who binge drinks too often, there has been numerous times I have made myself vomit because I had drank too much. I can guarantee I am the easiest girl in the world to make throw up, and have been known to bile on a penis before so the fact that this stupid little gel that was lemonade flavored made me impervious to gagging felt like a miracle I had been waiting two decades for. Next up on my list was a perfume that worked with your pheromones to create a scent that would compliment your biochemistry, while simultaneously seducing the nostrils of unsuspecting bachelors. We all were instructed to put it on and then sniff each other, and amazingly each girl smelt different. My scent reminded me of vanilla and honey, while my friend smelled like honeydew, and another smelt like lillies. Jade went through a dozen lubes, each that served a different purpose; water based, silicone based, ones for ass play, one that heated up, flavored ones, etc. My favorite part of the night however, and what every lady there was really excited for, was the sex toys. Several were passed around the room for us to feel and Jade instructed us to place them on the tip of our nose, as it has the closest sensitivity to the clitoris. As someone who started off there sex toy usage with a back massager, I couldn’t believe what a preposterous difference a professional toy could make. The Pure Romance brand retails only high end and upper quality devices, and you really do get what you pay for. One toy I turned on was buzzing so fast I could practically hear my vagina screaming out for contact. And though just the mere sound of the vibrators being passed around the room made my nipples hard, and my pussy wet, I could not stomach the $100 plus price tags attached to the toys. I thought all hopes of endless orgasms were lost and I’d have to sulk back to my room with blue balls, until the end of the night when Jade announced that there was going to be a little competition, and the winner would get the grand prize of a $69 vibrator. The game was answering questions about some of the products Jade had shown us through out the night, and I don’t know if I just have a superior memory or my vagina has a second brain but I answered every question correctly and mama went home with a $69 vibrator. Which truthfully I 100% do not deserve, as I can basically make myself come in 2 minutes always. (R.I.P. to all the ladies who have yet to experience an orgasm I pray for you every night). BUT believe me my not so little purple pal who I named Donny has made me happier than any penis ever has and probably ever will. So if ever in your life you have to the opportunity to attend a sex toy party, I firmly recommend going and relishing in the experience. You might even go home with your new favorite kink.
A word that means strong and barely controllable emotion. A term that usually relates to affection, desire, and love; so what better word can be used to describe this month. February not only holds a holiday dedicated to love and intimacy, it is also the month that makes people do what they love and makes them feel appreciated. Some people stand up for their rights on this months and honor those who are just like them as this is Black History Month. Others showcase their creative passions like New York, London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week takes place in this short month. So, for this month maybe you should do something that will make you feel cherished with self love and make you grow as a person. Because that kind of love cannot be fabricated or commeralized like Valentine's Day.

This smoothie right here is one of my favorites, because of the simplicity required to make, and the great benefits! It’s perfect for mornings because apples are high in fructose, and gives your body a good source of sustainable energy to start the day off with. A handful of spinach is a good source of vitamin K, and I included one whole kiwi to give the smoothie a better flavor. It’s fun to experiment with smoothies, so to change it up, I like put in some aloe juice, or plain greek yogurt!

First off a 5K is a distance of 5 kilometers, 3.11 miles. To some this may not seem much of a challenge which is where other events like 10K and marathons (26.2 miles) come in. If you are, not in the best of shape, want to beat your personal record, or would like to get it off your bucket list, a 5K is a great place to start. Completing one with friends or family as a group is a great idea! Now with the warm weather in action, there are so many events going on for charity, the workout, or even for fun! You and a 5K are about to be greatest duo this summer
Picking a 5K:
This is not very complicated but there are still some suggestions on how to make your whole experience run more smoothly! Decide why you want to do the event. Is it for exercise or maybe you want to give back to the community? For a fun experience, there are Color Runs, glow in the dark and other developed events. Some are free and while with others you pay your way like the music festival Night Nation Run that I went to in the beginning of the month, June 3! For the event I was able to pick up my event shirt and bib beforehand which allowed me to not have to change shirts! I definitely do suggest working out 3 weeks before running a 5K.
Preparing for the Climb:
You are not required to train for the event and some are laid back so you can go at your pace, even walking with your BFF if it suits you. However, if you do decide to train for the event, don’t push yourself! Go for jogs/runs longer than your distance so that your event time is better. I personally tried to go for a minimum of 3.11 miles, but would jog about 5 miles on average. I always swear by the Nike+ Run Club App; I can keep track of my average time, distance, what my pace was at any given point in my workout. Another great app to try out for those who want more guidance is Aaptiv. Also, yes you will be running, but it is wise to mix in cardio, lifting, sport playing, and even swimming into your training to change things up.
You’re Getting There:
Moving on, packing wise it’s simple, bring as little as possible. Some events may supply you with beverages like mine did, but bringing a water bottle with you won’t hurt. Bring some extra cash in case you get hungry later, your phone, and a portable charger. Try not bring a bag with you, maybe if you have your car nearby. Do not, I repeat, do not rely on public transportation unless you live nearby or will be leaving the event extra early and by that I mean 2 or more hours before people start to leave! Carpooling is even better than coming along since parking will be limited and it is the ecological decision. Take photos with your gang as this will be a memory you will not forget! At the event that I attended had a music festival and after the running which was pretty fun and amped me up for the summer! Anyways, I guess you’re READY, SET, GO on your 5K this summer!

Rock concerts are an experience, there will be people sweating, shoving, pushing, holding hands, and screaming as loud as they can. Also, no one cares about body space. It’s kind of gross, but when your favorite band is performing you won’t mind. Rock shows are so different than and other shows, people are so down to earth and you even have the chance to talk to your favorite bands.
Here are a couple tips on how to survive a s rock concert:
