Right before each fashion week season I like to imagine what will be shown on the runway and for a while I was waiting for these western beauties to make an appearance. I adore this key item because it's unisex, it goes with many things you might already have in your wardrobe, and they remind me of the 70's.
The classic cowboy boot has been updated with design elements such as side zippers, pointed toes, angular heels, crushed velvet, cap toes, lacing, crocodile skin, and with western appliqués. Cowboy boots can be worn for a dressier occasion with details such as high shine or all over velvet or can have a more rugged approach with details like distressed leather. We saw all these key details during Milan and Paris fashion week from designers such as, Manish Arora, Anne Sofie Madsen, Fausto Puglisi, Angelo Marani, and Fay.
There are three ways I'd style a pair of cowboy boots. The first being with a pair of skinny jeans and a tee-shirt, the second way would be to wear my 70's inspired denim jumpsuit from Revice Denim, and the third way would be to wear a shift dress with colored tights.
